This little gem isn't cheap, but I was unimpressed with the competition. And I mean the competition's latest model. Every time they came out with a new model it had a higher voltage motor and they claimed it was their best ever. Well, they were good at making a lot of noise. At picking up dirt, not so good. I thought I was crazy spending this much money on a cordless vacuum, but I am glad I did. This one actually works and is quieter than the others. I can't really add much more, as it as already been stated by others - well balanced, well designed, lithium battery lasts a long time. Hoover did a fantastic job on this product.
